christmas in castelia

hello, welcome back to castelia city! it's so good to see you again here this christmas~~ shall we explore the city together and enjoy our holiday?this is a short story game; there are four different endings that you can get! for each ending that you achieve you can get 1000 casteliacone (server currency), just dm me <3 p.s. this site looks better on desktop than mobile!

you manage to catch the train to the city, and you look out of the window serenely as the scenery flies past. you feel at ease, catching your breath eventually as you settle in your seat comfortably, the window feels cool to the touch."can i offer you a complimentary drink?" a young black haired girl's voice startle you slightly. you turn to look at her. she has large, pretty yellow eyes, and she wears a green argyle sweater under her apron. the nametag "kiki" sits on her chest."we have tea, coffee, cocoa, or anything else you would like!" she smiles.what do you do?

• ask for coffee
• ask for cocoa

"here you go!"after a short amount of time, kiki hands you your coffee, complete with an intricate sworl of patterns on the top. impressed, you thank kiki for her handiwork. "no, it's nothing!" she smiles bashfully with a smile. the coffee has a wonderful aroma and a rich and complex flavour - it's better than you expect, and you leave her a tip.when you are ten minutes away from arriving, kiki pops back again with a small wave. "heyo! i thought i'd come for a chat! if you didn't mind, that is..." you two chat for awhile, and you tell her that you are going christmas shopping. you ask if she has some store to recommend to you."hmm~~" she regards you with a thoughtful gaze, tapping her chin with a lazy finger. "for you... i think that you would like a place called time's antiquities! here, i'll mark it down for you on this map, okay? it's easy to miss, but you'll be fine!"when you arrive your destination, kiki brightly waves you off with a wink. "i'm glad i met you! have a good christmas!"

• alight the train

"here you go!"after a short amount of time, kiki hands you your cocoa, and sprinkles a few marshmallows on top. gleeful, you thank kiki for her kindness. "no, it's nothing!" she smiles bashfully with a smile. the cocoa is not too sweet and tastes warm and delicious, with a few faint notes of vanilla - it's better than you expect, and you leave her a tip.when you are ten minutes away from arriving, kiki pops back again with a small wave. passing through the streets, you turn into an alleyway. you eventually lose sight of bob, but because of the festivities, the scenery has transformed almost completely from what you are used to. you have been cooped up at home in the last few weeks, and the sight of snow is refreshing. the roost, a local cafe, is bustling with business from what you can see.as you walk in the crisp, refreshing winter air, someone taps lightly on your shoulder. you turn to see a blonde boy, accompanied by a blonde girl and a small, floating... chibi? you feel like you've seen stranger things in your life, so you nod in greeting anyway. "yees?""hi, i'm aether! um, me and my sister are just passing through here, but we don't really know our way around, uh, would you mind showing us around? only if it isn't too much of a bother, of course!"you peer down at your wristwatch, checking the time. you might be able to catch the next train if you rush now, but part of you wants to stay in the local area anyway and see it in its full festive bloom...what do you do?

you emerge into a small clearing in the woods. the scent of pine carries itself over to you comfortingly, and the snow has formed a soft blanket under your feet. there's a cottage in front of you, and a few steps before it stands bob."bob?"he looks at you, his usually lazy, half-lidded eyes widening in recognition. "hey... whatcha doing here?"you tell him that you were following him out of curiosity, and he laughs. "well, i was just tryin to get some courage to visit these friends... dunno... it feels embarrassing to suddenly go in with a present, ya know?"

♡ TRAVAIL ENDING ♡you end up showing aether, lumine and paimon around town! when you tell them that you had originally planned to go christmas shopping, they apologise to you. "it's nothing!" you say, smiling - a day spent with new friends is a day very well spent, you think to yourself.before the three depart, they offer you some gifts out of the blue suddenly. "uwah... there's no need for all this," you say, flustered by the unexpected kindness."take it as thanks! these are just some things that we collected from our travels," lumine says earnestly, offering you some chocolate that looked like four cubes - the packaging read "chocolate hypostasis.""lumi will be sad if you don't accept, you know," grins aether. on his hand is a string of pretty, pink-white pearls. "sango pearls," he explains, as he notices your attention.arms suddenly full of gifts that you plan to share with your friends, you sent the three off. "see ya!" paimon smiles, doing a loop in the air before flying into the train that the twins had just boarded. with a happy smile on your face and a blooming warmth in your chest, you wave them off on their next adventure.you have unlocked the travail ending! congratulations!

♡ SUNFLOWER ENDING ♡you find your way to the store easily, just several steps away from the central plaza of castelia city. you feel tempted to buy something from the vending machine, but you shake off the urge.eclipse and tora is a large store that has a cafe on one side and a shop selling unique items on another. decked out with tasteful festive decor, the place gives the feeling of a christmas market. you feel refreshed and happy just stepping in, and you stop for a moment to just admire, slowly unwinding your scarf.the girl at the cafe counter waves you over. she has dark hair held in two low pigtails, a fashionable hat sitting on her head. she introduces herself to you as tora, and you do a double take. "haha, yes, i do run this place with eclipse," she smiles.after one drink, you could've sworn that tora is the best barista in town. she grins at you. "would you believe me if i told you i only drink coffee? i run off it." before she could continue, someone else emerges. "that's enough of that coffee propaganda," another girl says, though her tone is good-natured. "what do you mean?" tora complains. "you drink coffee lots too!"you eventually find that the other girl is eclipse. they have let most of their staff take holidays for christmas, though there are two remaining, decorating the large tree in the centre of the store. you find that they're called himawari and rii, and you help them out.as thanks, the quartet gives you several gifts along with your own purchases. "merry christmas!" smiles eclipse, sending you off. happy to have made new friends and to have found such a charming place, you head home with a skip in your step.you have unlocked the sunflower ending! congratulations!

♡ TOY DAY ENDING ♡"can you gift it for me?" bob asks, eyes glittering with real anxiety. "nooo, but we can go in together, okay? there's nothing to be scared of, i'm here with you!" comforting him, you take his paw and walk ahead to knock on the door. a bunny that you don't know comes to the door, but his smile is friendly and welcoming. "ah..? i don't think we've met, but..." he notices bob standing half hidden behind you. "bob!"bob emerges from behind you, sheepish. "sasha, hey..." sasha's innocent eyes widen as he smiles. "i sure am happy you came over, hoppity!"sasha ushers the both of you into his living room, where you spot stella, who you know of through mutual friends but have never actually spoken to. she kindly introduces herself and greets you, and your nervousness quickly smoothens into ease and homeliness.you spend the day with bob, sasha and stella, chatting and enjoying christmas tunes together. at one point bob starts singing completely off-key, sending all of you into laughter. you join him as well, until eventually all of you are singing together, with no mind about musical ability but only smiling from joy.when it starts to get dark, you apologise and say that you should be heading off now. "ah, wait," stella stops you softly, before handing over a knitted stocking, embroidered with flowers that matched the one on her own red sweater. "here!"before you could respond properly, sasha also gives you a neatly wrapped gift. "i wasn't expecting guests but, i do have something a lil extra~" you bow in gratitude to the both of them, when bob gives you a big hug. "thanks for comin with me!"with joyful new memories, you head back home, warmth bubbling in your chest and presents held tightly in your arms.you have unlocked the toy day ending! congratulations!
